Greetings Citizens of Treasure Falls,
I hope all is well in your part of the kingdom. As of this writing all pledges have been shipped and I have already received many stories of families enjoying their games! It is amazing that The Quest Kids: Big Bads of Tolk’s Cave has now been delivered to over 1,400 backers across the world and the feedback has been very positive.
REMAINING ISSUES
The missing parts requests and missing shipment emails have slowed considerably over the past couple of weeks. However, if you do have any parts or shipping issues certainly please let me know. I am going to paste the contact instructions and FAQ from my last update below. If you have sent a missing parts or game email we have received it, however these types of shipments just take a bit longer to send out.

The Quest Kids: Giant Adventure launches on Kickstarter NEXT TUESDAY (March 7th). Giant Adventure uses the same mechanics as The Quest Kids board game, but in a new one-of-a-kind immersive experience. You can CLICK HERE to follow along with the campaign.
This wild idea is a passion project of mine and I hope you'll join me in making it a reality.

Hey Dustin! I don't have my game and have not received a shipping email! What gives?
I am not sure what gives, but I will most certainly help you figure it out. Please send an email to [email protected] with the subject "SHIPPING ISSUE - YOUR NAME" and with your backer info in the email. We will resolve the situation ASAP.
Hey Dustin! I have my game, but a part is broken! What do I do?
That is a serious bummer, but we have a solution. Please send an email to [email protected] with the subject "BROKEN COMPONENT - YOUR NAME" and with a picture of the broken component in the email. We are using Spiral Galaxy and Quartermaster Logistics to send out replacement parts. If you have already contacted me about a missing or broken piece you do not need to email me again (your replacement piece is already being processed).
Hey Dustin! I got my pledge but it only has Big Bads of Tolk's Cave! I also ordered The Quest Kids and/or The Trials of Tolk the Wise! What gives?
The most likely cause for this is that you pledged at the 2 WAVE SHIPPING level, but for some reason missed out on the Wave 1 shipping this past summer. NO WORRIES! Please send an email to [email protected] with the subject "MISSED WAVE 1 SHIPPING - YOUR NAME" and with your backer info in the email. We will get your other games in the mail ASAP.

February 2023: Fulfillment Continues

Happy Monday Citizens of Treasure Falls,
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Fulfillment has begun in many parts of the world and will launch very soon everywhere else. Here's a quick update:
USA: all pledges have shipped from QML!
Canada: pledges will ship this week from QML.
Australia/New Zealand: pledges started going out from Aetherworks last week and will conclude this week.
Asia: VFI shipped some before CNY and will ship the rest ASAP (now that CNY has ended).
UK/Europe: Spiral Galaxy has the games and is ready to begin fulfillment this week.
Now, I am sure some of you have questions/concerns/issues, so let me try to address a few likely situations:

Hey Dustin! When is the next Quest Kids adventure headed my way?

January 2023: Fulfillment Begins!

Happy New Year Citizens of Treasure Falls,
I hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season with friends and family. We had a very busy break around our house with three young kiddos enjoying everything to the max.
I am very happy to report that The Quest Kids: Big Bads of Tolk's Cave is still moving towards a January fulfillment in most regions. All journeys have their challenges and this process has not been without some obstacles (specifics below), but I am very proud that we will hit our proclaimed goal of beginning fulfillment in January 2023.
For all regions you will receive an address confirmation email from our fulfillment partner once your pledge is ready to ship.
USA/CANADA
The boat reached the port in Florida today! This would have happened two weeks ago, but we were the lucky winners of a random intensive examination by customs officials. Our container was sent to an auxiliary location and thoroughly examined. This process was long (and, unfortunately, expensive), but we finally got the "all clear" from customs officials last week.
Assuming no additional delays the games will make it quickly through the port and arrive at Quarter Master Logistics early next week. We should be able to start shipping games to backers in the USA by the end of next week.
Quarter Master Logistics also handles our shipping to Canada. These pledges typically take about 10 extra days once fulfillment begins. Therefore, our estimate right now is backers in Canada will begin receiving their pledges the week of February 6th.
ASIA
VFI is handling fulfillment in Asia. They have already sent shipments to their distribution hubs across the region and some pledges are already on their way to backers!
AUSTRALIA/NEW ZEALAND
Our shipment has arrived in Australia and fulfillment is being handled by Aetherworks. Shipping to backers should begin next week (the week of January 16th).
UK/EUROPE
Unfortunately, our shipment to the UK is the most delayed. It is scheduled to arrive at the port on January 31st. We had a booked departure date from China of December 9th, which was within days of the other three shipments. Multiple minor delays at the port in China and on the sea have added up to put this shipment three weeks behind schedule. I am very sorry for this delay.
However, we are all set to fulfill the games as quickly as possible once they arrive. We are using Spiral Galaxy for fulfillment to the UK and Europe.

Greetings Citizens of Treasure Falls,
I have two very exciting bits of news to share:
First, all Big Bads of Tolk's Cave pledges are headed to the port with scheduled departures!
We have three different shipments headed to three different logistics partners (QML for USA/Canada/ROW, Spiral Galaxy for the UK/Europe and Aetherworks for Australia/New Zealand). We are using VFI for our Asia fulfillment and these games will be picked up by truck directly from the factory next week.
All three shipments have scheduled December arrivals, which puts us right on target for our promised January 2023 fulfillment (perhaps sooner for our backers in Asia!).
Second, our next project is our biggest idea yet...
The Quest Kids: Giant Adventure is a LIFE-SIZED fantasy game experience for kids 5+ that is headed to Kickstarter in early 2023!
Using 36 giant cardboard tiles players will create a dungeon in their own home and act as the game pieces as they search for treasure, silly bad guys and stars.
Giant Adventure features the same award-winning mechanics as The Quest Kids board game, but in a new one-of-a-kind immersive experience.
We will be sharing a lot more about the game in the coming weeks, however we do have a give-away going on right now.
